Scalp Micro Pigmentation (SMP), also known as Hair Follicle Replication, is a non-surgical, non-invasive process that uses tiny ink imprints on the scalp, creating the look of a full head of hair that is cut very close. The effect is realistic, attractive, natural, completely undetectable, and virtually maintenance-free.
The process is somewhat similar to a tattoo, in that a pigment is deposited into the skin, but the similarity ends there. Our state of the art SMP process uses specialized equipment, pigments, and techniques unique to this application. The pigments are designed and adjusted specifically to match the client’s shade and to never change in color, unlike tattoo inks. These pigments are placed closer to the surface of the skin, and in minuscule amounts, making the experience much more comfortable.
The micro-fine delivery system, in the hands of our highly trained practitioners, replicates the shape, shade, and density of natural hair follicles. We take into account all the relevant factors including your age, existing hair, shade, skin tone, density, facial features, and personality to design a natural hairline and hair distribution patterns to perfectly suit your own individuality and wishes and to optimize your appearance.
We also do all that is necessary to minimize or virtually eliminate any discomfort, for the most pleasant treatment experience.
Existing facial hair can be created or enhanced to give you a fuller, denser beard or facial hair.
For women with thinning hair, we can give the appearance of increased density by eliminating the contrast between hair and scalp.
Hair transplant patients can also greatly benefit from our SMP procedure, with greatly improved density and camouflaging of the scars at the donor sites.
